As a joint venture, SwingPoint and Fathom purchased this 90,000 SF historic building in 2024 with a plan to redevelopment as a 101-key boutique hotel.  The building was originally built in in 1909, for the Fidelity Trust Bank and was the tallest building in Maine at the time.  The completed project will be branded as The Monument Hotel, in recognition of its location on Portland’s central downtown Monument Square, and will include a full service restaurant/bar and a lower level wellness spa.  Hotel opening is anticipated for Spring 2027.
